portrait possibilities for one or several subjects in a portrait with corresponding prices.
Basic PETraits are 1 animal, head and shoulder pose. Everything added to the
basic portrait will be an extra charge. Many of the portraits ordered are dogs, cats and
horses, but there are many kinds of cherished animals. Some of the other animals I have
painted are: lop eared bunnies, llamas, monkeys, a parrot, goats, burros, etc. I really
like the challenge of capturing the expression of each animal--familiar or exotic!
Ordering your PETraits®:
To receive the best likeness of your favorite animal(s), choose a close-up, clear photo of
the face, showing eyes and eye color if possible. Several more photos may be necessary
to show correct colors and the preferred pose. Remember, the photo is the model for your
portrait, and resemblance to the photo is guaranteed.
The most popular pose is a 3/4 front, head and shoulder pose, although other poses may be
individually quoted. These may be full body poses, poses with custom background, as well as
multiple subject poses. Also, you may wish to have the portrait painted in a medium other
than pastels, and that is quoted per your request.
